Chan on Letterman

I was on tour with her at this time, and I remember watching this live on TV at my friend's grandmother's house in Baltimore, and then she called me and fell asleep while on the phone and I hung out with her faintly snoring on the phone for about an hour. It all seems like a dream to me now. Glad to have found this clip and glad to have so many indescribable memories of this powerful beautiful woman. Someday I will write a book about all the adventures she led me through. Always an inspiration, for life.
