Just give me one day in a world that's not owned and operated by bloodsuckers
and thieves, one moment on the street without invisible walls between the people,
one night when love and discovery are unchained fron hidden eyes and the heavy
weight of the future, once chance to create life with freedom and spontaneity,
one glimpse of radiant light from the tranquil infinities of possibility, and
I will never turn back. When truth appears in a flash, the lies never look the
same again. Each moment of beauty makes the ugliness of daily life more apparent;
every wild night of adventure and passionate living makes every day of work and
struggle seem more like slow death in tiny increments. But a million pinpricks
can kill just as surely as a bullet in the head; every stolen moment, every little
defeat must be seen for what it is: a matter of life and death. If we are persistent, if we keep on returning to beauty and truth wherever we can find them, if we seek a way out of boredom and helplessness whenever possible and at any cost, we can transcend the grey world of money and meaningless responsibility, we can enter into a new world, a bright uncharted reality that has been calling us all along in the most beautiful moments; we can truly enter the realm of the LIVING and
leave "survival" behind once and for all. Just give me one chance to break free,

"While performing for Joy Division, Curtis became known for his quiet and awkward demeanour, as well as a unique dancing style reminiscent of the epileptic seizures he experienced, sometimes even on stage.[4] There were several incidents where he collapsed and had to be helped off stage.[5] In an interview for Northern Lights cassette magazine in November 1979 Ian Curtis made his only public comment on his dancing and performance. He explained the motivation as: "Instead of just singing about something you could show it as well, put it over in the way that it is, if you were totally involved in what you were doing".

Curtis's writing was filled with imagery of emotional isolation, death, alienation, and urban decay. He once commented in an interview that he wrote about "the different ways different people can cope with certain problems, how they might or might not adapt."

There's no beginning and no end, and everything in between is one and the same. All is one, and that must be our way of looking at the world, for it is simply so. The space- time continuum holds the potential for infinite dimensions and , as in a hologram or holograph, everything is everywhere all at once. Our perception and its conditioning, either by external forces or by our own choice or will, largely determine the nature of our own individual, moment to moment realities. All of these stories are streams from the same river, all of these lives and legends spun from the same original strands, scattered by the same explosive blast of becoming, ever evolving in cycles and circles that reflect and balance each other. Dreams are as real as waking life. It's all an illusion. What you think about is what you experience and in this, you have a choice.

I was on tour with her at this time, and I remember watching this live on TV at my friend's grandmother's house in Baltimore, and then she called me and fell asleep while on the phone and I hung out with her faintly snoring on the phone for about an hour. It all seems like a dream to me now. Glad to have found this clip and glad to have so many indescribable memories of this powerful beautiful woman. Someday I will write a book about all the adventures she led me through. Always an inspiration, for life.

The World is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round, and it has thrills and chills and is very brightly colored, and it's very loud. And it's fun, for a while.

Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they've begun to question, 'Is this real, or is this just a ride?', and other people have remembered, and they've come back to us and they say 'Hey, don't worry. Don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.' and we KILL THOSE PEOPLE.

"Shut him up! We have alot invested in this ride! SHUT HIM UP! Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account, and my family. This just has to be real."

It's just a ride.

But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that. You ever noticed that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because ... It's just a ride.

And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear wants you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead see all of us as one.

Here's what we can do to change the world right now, to a better ride:

Take all that money we spent on weapons and defense each year and instead spend it feeding, clothing, and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and WE CAN EXPLORE SPACE, TOGETHER, BOTH INNER AND OUTER, forever ... in peace.
